Download Advice

The following advice is not necessary to listen on-line.

If you wish to actually download a file to computer or iPod etc. please read the following.

Click on the requested sermon file.  The file will play and automatically download to a temporary area (If you do not specifically save this file, it will be automatically deleted when you switch off your computer).

Note the gray line on the play-bar above the 'Download' button.  As the file is downloaded to your computer you will see the percentage download.  Once the file has been completely downloaded the percentage will change to the time since the start of the audio.

It is important that you wait until the download reaches 100% and thereafter shows the elapsed time before you proceed further.  Failure to wait will mean that you will save an incomplete sermon.

Press the pause icon (II) on the left of the play-bar to stop the audio.

Now press the download button.  Windows Media Player (or your preferred MP3 player) will start and the audio will again commence.  Within Media Player click File/Save as.  Save the file in the desired area.  It is not recommended that you save to the Desktop as this may slow your computer start-up as each file is around 10-12Mb.

If the File menu is not visible in Media Player, just right-click the bar at the top of the screen where 'Windows Media Player' is displayed.  Select 'File' and then 'Save as'.  The file will be saved as an MP3 which can be listened to off-line or sent to a portable iPod or similar.
